COLUMBUS, Ohio — Today, the ACLU of Ohio, the American Civil Liberties Union, and Covington & Burling LLP filed objections to the “fifth” set of legislative district maps, adopted by the Ohio Redistricting Commission on Thursday, May 5.

A motion was filed with the Ohio Supreme Court, requesting that the Ohio Redistricting Commission show cause as to why they shouldn’t be held in contempt, for failing to follow the April 14 order requiring the Commission to convene.
