Legal Debt is the leading cause of bankruptcy in Portage County. This public community program will focus on the impacts this has on our county and its citizens. Come hear presentations about the problem, participate in a community brainstorming about possible solutions, and learn how you can take actions to address this problem.
This event is cosponsored by the ACLU Portage County Action Team, the Kent League of Women Voters, and the NAACP Portage County Chapter.
The event will be held in Hobbs Social Hall, and parking is available in the gravel lot and the city parking north of the venue.
