Recent Activity
Read about the exciting work of the Cleveland Chapter in the summer 2008 edition of Cleveland Liberty, the chapter’s newsletter.

How did you spend your summer vacation? Summer interns at the ACLU of Ohio Cleveland office hosted the 2008 Brown Bag Lecture Series. Our interns led Northeast Ohio activists on a journey through time, hosting diverse speakers exploring heroines of the civil rights movement and the history of free speech, while informing us on urgent civil liberties issues - virtual free speech, voting rights and selective enforcement. Unable to join us for one of the lectures? Check out the Brown Bag Lecture webcasts.

Events and Programs

Join the ACLU Cleveland Chapter on October 12, 2008 at the annual Ed Likover Memorial Lecture, where political science professor Peter Irons will discuss the challenges facing civil liberties in the courtroom and the future of the Supreme Court in this crucial election year.
