Take Action
Now that you have the tools, put them to use! Below are some
ideas for getting started.
Protest the Closing of the Cincinnati Immigration Court! The U.S. Department of Justice is closing down the Cincinnati Immigration Court and all immigration cases will be consolidated at the Cleveland Immigration Court.
Learn more about the problems associated with this consolidation and what you can do to help.
Stop S.B. 35!
S.B. 35 would allow local police to enforce federal immigration laws,
potentially leading to
mistaken arrests, racial profiling, and the misdirection of funds away from basic protective services.
Write your state senator today and ask that he or she
oppose S.B. 35.
Here
are some tips on writing an effective letter. You can find a
sample letter
here.
